A new MI 8 Pro update is currently arriving for Global Beta Testers and Mi Pilot, after the former update that brought Stable Android 10 to the device was suspended due to bugs, The update begins to roll out for the second time, but exclusive to Beta Teams and Mi Pilots.
The new Android 10 update for Mi 8 Pro is arriving with a build number MIUI 11 .0.3.0 QECMIXM. It started arriving a few hours ago and is a Global Update. Therefore, irrespective of your location, once you’re a Beta Tester for the Mi 8 Pro, you will receive the update via OTA.

If you’re already running the Android 10 with the previous update, you can as well download the latest build. However, from users’ feedback, there’s no sign of dual GPS after the update. The user also lamented the lack of GALILEO and BEIDOU satellites.

As always, updates are first released to Beta Team members, who test the ROM for bugs and then return feedback. It’s after then that the Global Stable release will start rolling out. Therefore, if you haven’t received the update yet, there’s no need to panic as the Stable version of the update will start arriving soon.
Nevertheless, you can still scan for the update to see if it’s there. The past few days have seen Xiaomi release updates to a good number of their phones, and after saying it’s for the Beta team, it ends up arriving for everyone. We witnessed it when the company released Android 10 for Redmi Note Pro by rolling out updates meant for the Indian users with EU build to some of its users in Pakistan.
To check for the new Android 10 update for MI 8 Pro, go to your device updater app through Settings, My Device, MIUI version for an automatic scan. And if the update isn’t there yet, then you will have to exercise patience.
