New Game Turbo design arrives with global security update

Xiaomi has been sending updates to its system apps in recent time. We understand that the company is working on a plethora of new features, and with each new update, they bring these features to stable users. The company is updating its global security app, and it brought a new Game Turbo design.

The Xiaomi Game Turbo app has seen so much optimization and improvement since its release. It got some revamp with the MIUI 13 update, but exclusive to Chinese users. However, with the recent update to the global security app, the company has now made a few UI changes to the Game Turbo app. 

For starters, Game Turbo is an in-built gaming enhancer developed and managed by Xiaomi. It comes pre-installed on all Xiaomi phones to boost gaming performance. There are handy features to keep you connected to other activities while you’re gaming. And with the recent update to the security app, the company has made a few changes.

According to the new security app update changelog, there has been a New in-app Game Turbo UI, New Game Turbo icon, and performance experience optimizations. A close look at the app shows there has been an overhaul of the app. 

Looking at the image above, the Game Turbo has been redesigned. There’s now a big Boost Performance area that boosts the gaming performance when enabled. When enabled, it boost the frame rate, but some apps running in the background might be closed. 

Also, there have been additions of new icons, including a voice changer, but exclusive to select phones. You can also see options like clear memory, free up storage, screenshot, timer, DND, and others. 

How to get the new Game Turbo design

• Download the new security app from the link
• Click the three dots and select save to download
• Locate the app on your download folder and install
• Open the Game Turbo app after the installation to enjoy the new changes 
• Note: the new changes work on most if not all Xiaomi and Redmi phones.
