It’s looking likely that the Redmi Note 10 series will receive the Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5. Xiaomi recently released the second batch of deployment roadmap, expected to start seeding next month. The list includes the Redmi Note 10 series phone. However, it’s the Chinese rollout plans that have been released, but we expect the global release to follow. And ahead of the release, Xiaomi has released a new global stable Redmi Note 10 Pro update. It brings multiple bug fixes and increases system security.
Xiaomi is currently seeding a new global stable Redmi Note 10 Pro update. It comes with a version number – MIUI 12.5.8.0 RKFMIXM. The update has bumped the Android security patch level to September to increase system security and stability. It has fixed the bug with charging when memory usage is displayed, crashing caused by using fingerprint and Face ID simultaneously. The update has fixed notification shade compatibility issues with third-party themes and has adjusted dark mode for notifications.
Notification not displaying correctly when ‘raise to wake” is enabled got a fix and issues with permission after missed calls. Interestingly, notification not displaying when app lock is enabled has been fixed, and other issues affecting wallpaper. You can check the changes here.
The new global Redmi Note 10 Pro update is seeding to Mi Pilots. They’ll preview the build, and if there are no issues, the public will start getting it in the coming days. Nevertheless, you can check the updater app for the update or download using the links below.
