Check below this post for the link to download the Indian MIUI 12 update for the Redmi Note 9 Pro….
Unfortunately, the new Global stable update that has been released isn’t what most people were expecting. According to Alvin Tse, Xiaomi executive in Indonesia, the Redmi Note 9 Pro will be receiving the much-anticipated MIUI 12 update this month. However, the new global stable update for the Redmi Note 9 Pro is still based on MIUI 11.
Unlike the Redmi Note 8, which is also available in China, there’s no chance we’d see the MIUI 12 update start arriving for the global Redmi Note 9 Pro this month, unless the Indian version. It’s quite frustrating considering that older Xiaomi phones have bagged the update, but while waiting, you should download the new update, which improves the system performance.
It’s arriving with a version number, MIUI 11.0.7.0 QJZMIXM, and weighs in at 323MB. The update is a monthly patch build that bumps the Android security level to September while improving the system security and stability.
Aside from those changes, there isn’t much on the changelog. However, it’s important you fortify your device for a seamless migration when the MIUI 12 update starts arriving. To update, head to System Updates and perform a manual scan, or you can use the download link below this post.
After downloading, move the ROM to your device’s internal memory. Head over to system updates and click on the three dots at the top right. Select the update package and choose the ROM you downloaded. The system will verify ROM, after which the flashing process will commence. At this time, just leave the phone until the process is completed. Check here for the full tutorial.
