A new Mi 9T Global beta stable update with build number MIUI 11.0.5.0 is now live. The update is arriving at Random and will progressively get to all compatible devices when the public release starts. For now, beta team, Mi Pilots and users running Beta Stable ROM are getting the new update.
Unfortunately, we don’t have the Changelog at the time of this report, but as usual, it will come with an updated security patch to improve system security. The update will also fix bugs and improve system performance. However, we have detailed feedback on the improvement Xiaomi has made with the new Mi 9T Global Stable Beta ROM.
Feedback on New Mi 9T Global Beta Stable update – MIUI 11.0.5.0 QFKMIXM
According to Xiaomi’s Mi Fans team:
- The new update has improved operation on the phone, now smoother.
- Games and apps now load faster without any form of lag.
- Auto-brightness works more adequately
- The mobile data (LTE) working seamlessly without any interruptions
- WiFi turns on faster now
- Battery backup improved, but only from 100-99% goes down much slower. Overall, the battery performance is encouraging as you now get 25 minutes on-screen time at the expense of 5-8% battery life. Another interesting thing is that when you don’t use the phone, especially at night, you will wake up to notice the phone drained just 1% battery.

However, some bugs have remained, which are:
- The phone still lags when auto-brightness is turned on
- Mobile data turns on very slow
Like we already hinted in this post, the update is arriving at Random to Beta testers. It will be available to the public in a few days if no bug major bug is reported. Nevertheless, you can still check the updater app to see if the new Mi 9T Global Beta Stable update already got to your phone.
