New Mi A3 Android 10 update starts rolling out again, European users still in the dark

Xiaomi just released a new Mi A3 Android 10 update for the Global users, once again leaving out the European counterpart. It’s the fourth time Mi A3 has received a stable Android 10 update targeted at the Global users. However, all the past Mi A3 Android 10 build has been full of bugs, and we think that’s why the European variants are yet to receive the update.

There’s been a rumor in the past about the availability of Mi A3 Android 10 with EU version number, but it was debunked by a Moderator in the Mi community. According to him, only developers knew about the ROM and promised to enquire about the EU Android 10 build. Unfortunately, nothing has been said since then and now a new Mi A3 Android 10 build starts rolling, and again, for the Global users.

The new update is arriving with a version number V11.0.14.0 QFQMIXM and weighs in at 32.69MB. Needless to say, it for units already running Android 10, expect a bigger size build if your device is still in Android pie.

Coming along with the update is April Google security, which also arrived for the Mi A1 already. It also has with it Dark theme, gesture navigation, and privacy control.

According to feedback, it seems the new update has fixed the issue with the fingerprint not showing up when the device is picked and the camera EIS issue. However, few bugs have remained, the camera shutter is still locked at 1/4s, as well as the bug in setting suggestion.

Nevertheless, the feedback has been positive, with many people claiming it is the best Mi A3 Android 10 build they have received. With that, you should download the update immediately you get a prompt notification, or it might be pulled from your device. And don’t forget to leave feedback. We are still coordinating with moderators in the MI community forum about the EU version of the update.
