Exactly how Xiaomi supported the Redmi 5 Plus when it launched three years ago is what the Redmi Note 9 Pro is getting. But unfortunately, the former is still in November 2019 Android security patch, while the latter has received multiple updates in last few weeks. The new Redmi Note 9 Pro Global stable update is arriving for the Indian users. It’s coming with a build number MIUI 11.0.6.0 QJWMIXM and will progressively arrive on all compatible devices via OTA.
The news about the update came directly from MIUI 11 India, through its official Twitter handle. It’s believed that the update has got to your device, kindly check the Updater app. However, we have added a link for the OTA ROM, so you can easily download and flash using the Recovery method.

However, this particular bug is yet to get a fix even after the many updates. The camera still doesn’t focus when shooting 1080p@60fps. From the feedback, the bug shipped with the phone, and we hope Xiaomi fixes that in the next update.
