Download the new update for the Russian models with version number – MIUI 12.0.5.0 QFCRUXM…
Xiaomi started pushing stable Android 11 updates to eligible units late last year, and so far, over 15 phones have received the update. The Mi 9 Lite – sold as Mi CC9 in China – has already bagged the beta version of the update, meaning the stable version will soon be out. However, it seems something needs to be fixed as Xiaomi starts rolling out a new stable update for the Mi 9 Lite in Europe without the much-anticipated Android 11 build.
The new update is currently arriving at random, and as usual, will take some days before appearing on all eligible units. It has a version number – MIUI 12.0.6.0 QFCEUXM – and weighs in at 187MB. The build brings the February 2021 security patch to improve system security and stability while fixing some minor bugs. Also, it fortifies the device ahead of the Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 upgrade – which the latter is expected to start seeding next month.
Of course, the update is safe, and you should download and install it when prompted. And for some people waiting for prompt notification, you can check for the update via system updates. Also, you can use the link below and download the new stable update for the Mi 9 Lite in Europe, but that might return an error. In such situations, know that the build is still on a limited rollout, and you should give it some time before flashing again.
