Xiaomi is about to start sending out a stable MIUI 12 based Android 11 update to the POCO X3 NFC. Early reports show that the device will soon start getting the update, having been spotted on Geekbench and Google Console running Android 11. And while we wait for the update to start seeding, Xiaomi is currently rolling out a new stable update to the POCO X3 NFC in Europe, which brings a new security patch, system optimization, and bug fixes.
The update already arrived for limited Global ROM users, while the EEA version just went live. It’s going to take some days before the general public starts receiving the update, but that’s if no bug is found in the build. The update is safe and free of bugs, though, according to those that have installed it, and hence, we expect a wider rollout soon.
Meanwhile, the new update for POCO X3 NFC in Europe has a software designation, MIUI 12.0.6.0 QJGEUXM. It weighs in at 334MB and comes with the November security patch. The system security, as well as performance, has improved while minor bugs got a fix. We expect the update to go live in other regions soon.
However, if you’re running the Global ROM, you can download the recovery or OTA ROM here. The link to the EEA version is below this post, and you can flash via the Recovery method. And as for when the device will start getting a new OS update, we anticipate it alongside the next stable update for the device. We’ll also follow the development and will report any new information here.
