The Xiaomi Mi 9 received the Android 10 four months ago with the MIUI 11 update. And just a couple of weeks ago, the Mi 8 received the update while the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite is still languishing in Android Pie. Meanwhile, a new Xiaomi MI 9 Lite update is currently arriving at the device, with a build number, MIUI 11.3.9.0 PFCEUXM. The update weighs 594MB, and unfortunately, it still fails to bring Android 10 for Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite.
The new Xiaomi MI 9 Lite update brings some optimization and improved system performance. It updates the Android Security Patch level to January while fixing the bug with opening notification shade in second space. Also, the issue with the scrolling screenshot is now fixed.

Currently, the update is being rolled out to Mi 9 Lite in Singapore. However, you can check for the update from the updater app to see if it has made to your device. And if the new Xiaomi MI 9 Lite update isn’t there yet, you can change your region to Singapore and scan again.
