The wait for Android 10 on Mi Note 10 is still on as Xiaomi starts rolling out a new update to the device. Meanwhile, the company had earlier released a statement that it will be pushing Android 10 to the Chinese variant [ CC9 Pro], and we expect the Global variant [Mi Note 10] to follow immediately once the rollout is completed in China.
But as we wait for Xiaomi to commence the Android 10 rollout, a new Xiaomi MI Note 10 update is now live. The update started arriving today with a build number MIUI 11.0.9.0 PFDMIXM and weighs in at 248MB. It’s a Global Stable update aimed at squashing bugs and optimizing System performance. Below is the new Xiaomi Mi Note 10 update Changelog.
New Xiaomi Mi Note 10 update [ MIUI 11.0.9.0 PFDMIXM ] Changelog
Other
- Optimized System performance
- Improved System security and stability
- Bug fixes and optimization
Unfortunately, the new update is still based on Android Pie. For now, we can’t say exactly when Android 10 on Mi Note 10 will materialize, but we’d know about the new OS coming to Mi CC9 Pro this month, at least from what the company said.
Considering how Xiaomi updates their phones to a new OS, once the rollout is completed for the Chinese version, the Global variant will then get the update. The company did say mid-April is when they will start dropping Android on Mi CC9 Pro. If we take that to be true, then we should have Android 10 on Mi Note 10 towards the tail of this month.
Nevertheless, the new Xiaomi Mi Note 10 update is safe as no bug has been reported. You should download the update once you get a notification to avoid being pulled back. And to manually check for the update, head over to Settings> My Device> MIUI version> scan for updates. Don’t forget to leave feedback after updating.
