Not only did we get to see the next generation of Apple smartphones, the iPhone 14 series, but we also got to witness some other interesting pieces of tech. What’s there to know with the Newly released Apple Watches battery
As mentioned earlier, the Apple brand didn’t unveil the battery of these smartwatches, however, they did leave something you can measure their efficiency with, endurance in hours. Thanks to certification agencies, the battery capacities in mAh for products in their database are made available. In the case of the newly released Apple Watches, the battery capacities were revealed by the 3C agency from China.
First up, we had five new smartwatches from Apple, all delivering interesting feats. There’s the Apple Watch SE in the 40 and 44mm variants, the Apple Watch Series 8 in the 41 and 45 mm variants and of course the Apple Watch Ultra.
The 40mm Apple Watch SE houses a 245 mAh battery while the 44mm counterpart gets a 296 mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Apple Watch 8 series gets 282 mAh and 308 mAh batteries for the 41 and 45mm variants respectively.
This battery capacity gives the Apple Watch Series 8 up to 18 hours of normal use, and that’s with the AOD (Always on Display), constant heart rate and all of the other features. Apple adds an optional low-power mode on this wearable that enables users to get up to 36 hours of use.
Lastly, we have the Apple Watch Ultra which gets the biggest battery among all the new Apple Watches. It’s a 542 mAh battery that allows users to get up to 36 hours of use and a whopping 60 hours of use with the optional low power mode turned on. These battery capacities should set up healthy competition with the other competitors in the smartwatch market.
