Details of the Apple iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max

First up, one of the noticeable features is the size of the screen displays. We have 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max respectively. Then moving to the AOD, Always-On display feature, you get a peak brightness of 2000 nits plus a refresh rate of 1Hz on the AOD while enabling you to view widgets and live activities.

Furthermore, there seems to be a big tweak in the camera section of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The duo gets a “quad camera sensor” with the highest resolution camera sensor being 48MP, although it shoots at 12MP at default. The main sensor gets an f/1.78 aperture, full focus pixels as well as an amazing stabilization.

Still, on the main sensor, you can get a 2x which will prove to be very useful in Portrait shots. The ultrawide is a 12MP camera sensor and is designed to capture clearer and sharper images- also applies to macro shots. Last on camera, we get the telephoto camera equipped with optical image stabilization on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Connectivity, the sleek duo has satellite connectivity, a feature useful for sending out emergency SOS messages. Then there’s the notch design, the notch is smaller but it still houses the camera and Face ID sensor, although the camera is 30 percent smaller. The space in between the cutout can be closed to give a solid piece and this gives room for other background activities. Apple calls the notch “Dynamic Island”.

The description of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will not be complete if we didn’t mention the all-new A16 Bionic chipset. The chipset uses 30 percent less power compared to the A15 Bionic and is equipped with highly efficient cores. Interestingly, it is capable of handling 17 trillion operations per second, quite interesting.

Last on the pricing, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max starts at $999 and $1099. You can get the duo in Space Black, Silver, Gold and Deep Purple colour options.
