Nokia XR20 Android 14 update to start rolling out soon
While Google is already working on the next Android OS upgrade, only one Nokia phone has received the latest OS update. The company seems to be working on the upgrade for more phones and will soon start rolling out the Nokia XR20 Android 14 update.
Android 14 stable update was released to AOSP in October 2023, and the update has arrived on many eligible phones. However, it’s a different case for Nokia phone users, as only one device from the company has received the update, the Nokia G42 5G. Unfortunately, there’s no official list of Nokia phones that will get the latest OS, but the Nokia XR20 is likely the next to receive an upgrade.
According to NokiaPowerUser, citing an HMD employee, the Android 14 update for the Nokia XR20 will start rolling out soon. If that’s the case, it will make the phone the second to receive the much-anticipated upgrade. Unfortunately, there’s no time frame when the update will arrive, which is disappointing. After the supposed Nokia XR20 Android 14 update rollout, the next phones likely to receive a new OS are Nokia G605 and Nokia X30 5G. The duo were recently spotted on Geekbench running Android 14, meaning they could start getting the upgrade soon.
