Xiaomi is now rolling out the Redmi Note 9 4G / Redmi 9T Android 12 update. The update is arriving for users in China with a stable MIUI 13 but will likely take a few days to start seeding for the global users.
The Redmi Note 9 4G arrived in China running Android 10 on top of MIUI 12 and was released to the global market a few months after with the same software. Both phones (Redmi Note 9 4G and Redmi 9T) are currently running Android 11 with MIUI 12.5, but that changes for the Chinese models now.
The Redmi Note 9 4G / Redmi 9T Android 12 update is seeding with a version number MIUI 13.0.1.0 SJQCNXM. That confirms our previous report, hinting that the update will arrive soon in China.
