Another advantage Android One phones have, aside from running stock android is the timely update they get. They are also promised two OS upgrades and at least three years of support. The Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite received its last OS update a few months ago, which left some serious bugs. However, developers have been fixing some of the reported bugs with subsequent updates and have now released the October security patch update for the Mi A2 Lite.
The update is arriving for the global version of the device with a version number V11.0.12.0 QDLMIXM. Thus far, it’s only available for a few users and will be made available to the public in the coming days. The reason for limiting the rollout is because, in case of any serious bug, the damage can easily be controlled.
Meanwhile, the update is aimed at bug fixes, system security and performance improvement. And because only selected users have received the update, we can’t say for now if any of the previously reported bugs have been fixed. However, we expect to see some improvement, and you should download the October security patch update for the Mi A2 Lite when prompted.
Also, you can follow the download link below this post and download the recovery ROM. The fastboot ROM is also available, simply follow the link below. And if you’re running the latest build, we would like to know your experience and if the underlying bugs have been fixed.
