Xiaomi will start the official MIUI 12 Beta testing after the MIUI 12 announcement. The company confirmed that in a teaser sent out a few days ago that it will be unveiling the Mi 10 Youth and MIUI 12 at an event that will take place in China on April 27TH. There have been multiple MIUI 12 Beta testing programs being perpetrated across several channels, and we believe that to be fake.
According to a super moderator in the Mi community forum, the Xiaomi official MIUI 12 Beta testing program will be launched through the company official channels – Mi community and MIUI ROM Facebook page. It’s recommended you only apply for any Beta testing program released through those channels.
In case you don’t know yet, the Beta phase is the first stage of any new MIUI ROM. Selected individuals will first receive the update, which usually contains minor bugs. They have to test the ROM and then give feedback to developers on the bugs and also give suggestions for improvement. After the Beta phase, that’s when the general public will start getting the MIUI 12.
Meanwhile, let’s bring you up to speed with some alleged features of the next User Interface. It will introduce a new Navigation bar and gesture amid the rumors that the old one is unstable. The new interface will perfect the system wide-dark made and will probably get to all Xiaomi phones. A new notification box mechanism will be introduced as well, while ads on the UI will be optimized even more.
Xiaomi will also improve its privacy management and will be looking up to Apple in that regard. We have started seeing rumors of the new camera UI and also the new multitasking animation. However, we are still waiting for the official announcement to confirm some of these features.
