[Updated] POCO X3 NFC now receiving its first stable update in all regions

The POCO X3 NFC is expected to arrive in India on September 22, which is exactly three days from today. The device will debut in the country with an improved RAM, slightly higher battery capacity, and will be offered from INR 19,999 ($270). Surprisingly, Xiaomi has just released a new update for the POCO X3 NFC, with India among the regions getting it, albeit the phone isn’t currently available in that region.

However, that’s normal. The update is currently on the server, which means that after activating your POCO X3 in India, you’ll be graced by a new update, which is pretty cool.

The build is to improve system stability and then reduce lag. Depending on your region, the update will arrive with a different version number. On the global models, it’s coming as MIUI 12.0.2.0 QJGMIXM and in Europe as MIUI 12.0.2.0 QJGEUXM. If you’re in Russia, you’ll receive a 235MB sized update with a build number, MIUI 12.0.2.0 QJGRUXM, and MIUI 12.0.2.0 QJGINXM in India.

Thus far, only limited users have received the current build, but you can always scan for new updates manually. Also, you can follow our download link and manually sideload the ROM using the recovery method.

    • You can, but why go through that long process when you’ll soon get MIUI 12.5? I advise you wait a little more for the update to arrive via OTA.
