The latest POCO X3 NFC update brings a security patch fix for October and bug fixes

The POCO X3 NFC is in great demand at the moment, thanks to the value for money specs. That’s probably the reason why it sold over 100,000 units in just a few days and has continued to receive so much attention ever since. Also, the company keeps pushing timely updates to the device, which is very commendable.

October security patch update for POCO X3 NFC

Yesterday, the EEA version of the POCO X3 started receiving an update, which came with the October security patch update. Now, the global version is receiving the same update.

The October security patch update for POCO X3 NFC is coming with a build number, MIUI 12.0.4.0 QJGMIXM. It will progressively appear on eligible devices over the next few days. However, for now, only selected users are bagging the Android 10 based MIUI 12 update.

Aside from bumping the Android security patch level to October, the update improved the system security and fixes bugs. The issue of “noise is heard when the screen is turned off in some cases” has now received a fix, among other minor bug fixes.

We expect other regions to start receiving the update as well. And while you wait for the prompt notification, you can scan for a new update from System Updates or follow the link below if you’re using the global model. The ROM can be flashed using the recovery method, and that way, the Bootloader can remain locked.
