POCO X3 NFC starts receiving a new update globally

Ahead of the planned Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 upgrade, Xiaomi has started pushing a new global stable update for the POCO X3 NFC. The latter will be seeding next month, while Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed when the Android 11 update will be made available. Perhaps, that’s not going to happen given how the company rolls Android OS updates. Nevertheless, we anticipate the update in the coming weeks as the current update might be to fortify the device.

New Global stable update for the Poco X3 NFC

That said, it’s recommended that you download and install the new global stable update for the POCO X3 NFC. The update already arrived in India and also in Europe, but with a different version number and size. On the global models, it’s arriving with a version number -MIUI 12.0.8.0 QJGMIXM. It comes in a 172MB package and would arrive on your device via OTA. It’s a security patch build and has bumped the device’s Android security level to February 2021 to increase security and stability. The update also fixed some minor bugs while getting the device ready for the planned upgrades.

Meanwhile, the update is tagged Beta Stable, meaning only a handful of users will receive the update. They are to preview the build and report back to developers, who’ll then use the feedback to make decisions on the next phase. And that should be releasing the update to the public, but we have to wait and see how things work out. However, you can flash the build via the link below, but it might return an error since the rollout is currently limited to few users.
