The OnePlus 11 officially arrives in China, the home market and the smartphone is taking up impressive features that will just wow the Android community. The first is that the OnePlus 11 is one of the smartphones that will be getting the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and this time, the efficiency of the chipset will not be limited.
OnePlus has a conventional move of reducing the capacity of the chipset for battery and thermal controls, but not this time(possibly the brand has put in checks for these). But what other features were integrated into this smartphone, let’s take a look.
Features of the OnePlus 11
The OnePlus 11 will be taking up a 6.7-inch LTPO 3.0 AMOLED display with 1440 pixel resolution and the option of a 1hz to 120hz screen refresh rate, depending on the app used at that moment. Thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, OnePlus 11 is equipped with the new LP-DDR5X RAM offering either 12GB or 16GB RAM and then 256GB or 512GB for the internal storage options.
In the camera section, the circular camera island is seen with the ever-prominent Hasselblad logo but that’s not all. The camera setup comprises a 50MP main camera sensor, a 48MP ultrawide(which can serve as a macro sensor) and then a 32MP telephoto lens. These sensors are supported by the 16MP lens at the left corner of the display. The OnePlus 11 camera setup is similar to what we have on the OPPO Find N2 which is not surprising given the brand’s camera partnership.
This amazing camera hardware plus the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset should give you the best out of imaging. Not to forget the ColorOS 13 based on the Android 13 the smartphone will be getting on the software front(there might be some imaging enhancements under the hood). You can enjoy these features on a hefty 5000 mAh battery to be charged with a 100W charger.
OnePlus will be gracing gamers with not only the impressive chip but the X-axis vibration motor which is about 602cu.mm – the biggest you can find on any smartphone around. Lastly, (according to GSMArena), prices are CNY3,999 ($580/€545) for the 12/256GB version, CNY4,399 ($640/€600) for 16/256GB middle tier, and CNY4,899 ($710/€670) for the top 16/512GB variant.
You can choose from either Green or Black but note that the Green colour variant has a glass finish at the rear as opposed to the sandstone finish on the Black OnePlus 11’s rear. You can start pre-ordering or you can wait for actual sales to begin by January 9.
