OPPO Find N2 arrives with SD 8 Plus Gen 1, 120Hz display, and new cameras, starting at $1150

The next generation of OPPO foldables, the OPPO Find N2, has been unveiled at an event held in China. The smartphone has a lot of enhancements and is powered by the very impressive Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus. Let’s take a look at what other features OPPO has integrated into this smartphone.

Features of the OPPO Find N2

First off, the display. The OPPO Find N2 houses a 5.54-inch cover screen and another 7.1-inch screen, both of which are capable of a 120 Hz screen refresh rate. However, it is worth noting that it’s just the inner display that gets the LTPO panel for adjusting the refresh rate between 1 – 120 Hz.

Still, on display, the brand maxed out the brightness to about 1550 nits and 1350 nits for the main and cover display respectively. Furthermore, there’s a 67 percent reduction in the crease of the inner screen which improves the hinge to a significant level. The crease is one of the major turn-offs in a foldable phone, so, OPPO made sure to ace this department.

Onto the camera section, the OPPO Find N2 displays house 32 MP camera sensors. And then on the rear, there’s the 50MP main sensor, an ultrawide 48MP lens and a 32MP telephoto shooter. It is worth noting that photo processing on this smartphone should be stunning, thanks to the MariSilicon X which is a product of the brand’s partnership with Hasselblad.

Other features present on the OPPO Find N2 include 12/16 GB LP-DDR5 memory, UFS 3.1 storage, a 4520 mAh battery, 67W fast charging and of course the impressive Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus. Lastly, the OPPO Find N2 will cost $1150 and $1290 for the 256GB and 512GB storage variants. We don’t know when the smartphone will debut officially nor do we know when the smartphone will be available globally but we will keep you posted should any event pops up. via
