The anticipation for the next generation of OnePlus flagships, the OnePlus 11, keeps growing given the features expected and it being part of the first set of smartphones to receive the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Well, reports came in that the smartphone will be debuting on February 7 2023, however, the phone will be debuting first in China by January 4.
Expectations from OnePlus 11 debut in China
The OnePlus 11 debut in China was confirmed on Weibo page by the brand. It will be taking up the former specs we know about. First off, as mentioned earlier, the OnePlus 11 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and is equipped with 12 or 16GB LP-DDR5X RAM and 512GB storage. The smartphone is 6.7 inches QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate.
The OnePlus 11 houses a 4870 mAh battery which is within what you will find in the market these days. On to the camera, the rear camera sensors comprise a 50MP main, 48MP ultrawide and a 32MP telephoto lens – not to forget the 16MP selfie camera.
Combining this camera hardware alongside the impressive Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 should give you the best image and video quality. The smartphone (of course) supports the 5G network and will be debuting with Android 13-based ColorOS 13 on the software front.
According to GSMArena, there will be two colour variants of this smartphone, Black and Green – although the black colour is getting a Sandstone Finish while the Green is getting something resembling a glass back.
That said, it was revealed that the smartphone will get 4 more Android OS upgrades. Oh well, expectations accompanied the OnePlus 11 (for now) as we might get more leaks before this smartphone debuts officially.
