The Android 13 software has had a very fast preview since its launch. Be that as it may, while some phone brands like Samsung have rolled out the stable update to a vast majority of its devices, some other OEMs are just trying to spread the rollout – regardless, it’s nice the ball is rolling. Well, it’s the OPPO Android 13 update roadmap and it’s revealing which smartphones will get the Android 13 and when.
Details on the OPPO Android 13 update roadmap
As mentioned earlier, the Oppo Android 13 update roadmap tells us not just what devices will be getting the Android 13 update but when and what version of the update they’ll be getting. Usually, there’s the stock Android 13 and then OEMs combine it with theirs to give something sleek, that of OPPO is the ColorOS update. The OPPO Android 13 update roadmap reveals that 19 smartphones will be getting the ColorOS 13 in Q1 2023.
However, some will be getting the stable version and others will be getting the beta version – precisely, 10 for the stable and 9 for the beta. According to sources, Find X2 Pro, Find X2, Find X2 Pro Lamborghini Edition, Find X2 League of Legends Edition, Ace2, and Ace2 EVA Limited Edition will be getting the stable ColorOS update by January 12, 2023.
K10x 5G and K10 Pro 5G will follow by January 13, 2023, with the stable update as well and then the Oppo Pad and Oppo Pad Artist Limited Edition by January 31, 2023, closing the list of the ten phones to receive the stable ColorOS update.
For the beta version of the ColorOS update, recruitment of beta testers for Reno7 5G, Reno7 New Year Edition, K9s, and K10 Vitality Edition will kickstart on January 11, 2023. Reno5 K 5G and K9 beta recruitment starts in February 2023, and then for K9 Pro 5G, K9x 5G, and A55 5G in March 2023. It is worth noting that this OPPO Android 13 update roadmap is for China and those for other regions might be slightly different.
