Redmi K40 recently got a stable Android 12-based MIUI 13 build ready for the Chinese users, likely to start seeding after the December 28 event. The Redmi K30S Ultra is also testing the build and might receive the stable version after the official presentation. Both phones are now testing the update globally, and we expect it to be among the first few phones to receive the Android 12-based MIUI 13 update.
The POCO F3 and Mi 10T / Pro MIUI 13 based Android 12 update is currently a beta build. According to the report, the build has a version number – MIUI 13.0.0.1 SKHMIXM and MIUI 13.0.0.1 SJDMIXM, respectively. Interestingly, the Indian models have their build -MIUI 13.0.0.1 SKHINXM and MIUI 13.0.0.1 SJDINXM ready. All are based on Android 12, meaning all MIUI 13 builds will be tied to Android 12 for eligible phones.
The European version of these phones is also in line to receive the update after the unveiling. Currently, there’s a beta build – MIUI 13.0.0.1 SKHEUXM and MIUI 13.0.0.1 SJDEUXM – being tested. It’s unclear when the build will start seeding to the public, but we hope to learn about that after that official launch.
Meanwhile, we are yet to know if there will be a global presentation of the update. Given that the stable version will start seeding immediately after launch, we might experience the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced approach again. If that’s the case, we expect the POCO F3 and Mi 10T / Pro MIUI 13 based Android 12 update in January 2022. That said, you should keep an eye on our page to know when the update becomes available.
