The latest device to start getting the much-anticipated Android 13-based MIUI 14 update is POCO F4. It’s a limited rollout currently to allow Mi Pilot members to preview the build before the commencement of the public rollout.
It was only a matter of when the POCO F4 Android 13 update will start seeding after Redmi k40s received the update in China. As expected, the update is available in Europe and we expect the global rollout in the coming days/weeks.
Meanwhile, the update is seeding in Europe with a version number MIUI 14.0.2.0 TLMEUXM and weighs 3.5GB. It brings a stable MIUI based on Android 12 and bumps the Android security patch level to December 2022. Also, the search in the setting app has advanced, while the super Icon is part of the package.
Although the changelog didn’t mention the photon engine, we believe it’s part of the POCO F4 Android 13 update. Hence, we expect the system to run more smoothly while being responsive after the upgrade. You can check the complete check log here.
Again, the update is exclusive to Mi Pilot members. It’s likely to arrive on your device in the coming days, although you can download the ROM using the link below. So far, there haven’t been issues with the upgrade but you should back up your data before proceeding.
