After the official unveiling of HyperOS globally alongside the Xiaomi 14 series, we expect more phones to get the much-anticipated upgrade. We have seen a few phones grab the update in the last couple of days, with the POCO F4 GT Android 14 HyperOS update the latest to start rolling out.
POCO is yet to officially confirm the timeline for the HyperOS rollout, just like Xiaomi for Global users, but their phones continues to receive the update. The update has since arrived for the POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro, while the global POCO F4 GT has also received the update. It is currently rolling out for those in Europe but is limited to Mi Pilots members.
The update is rolling out with a version number OS1.0.1.0.ULJEUXM. Aside from introducing all the expected features, the update bumped the Android security patch level to January 2024 to increase system security. Also, it delivers stable HyperOS based on Android, though we recommend backing up your data before installation.
The POCO F4 GT Android 14 HyperOS update is also rolling out for those in Taiwan and Indonesia. It is seeding with version numbers OS1.0.1.0.ULJTWXM and OS1.0.1.0.ULJIDXM, respectively. Both builds deliver all the expected features alongside the January 2024 security patch.
While waiting for the OTA, ensure your device bootloader is locked. Also, check all the reported HyperOS bugs, otherwise, wait for feedback before installing the update. You can follow us on our social media platforms to know when the update becomes available in your region.
