Xiaomi sub-brand POCO is yet to announce an official date for the launch of the POCO F3 successor. The Redmi K40s has been rumored to arrive on the international market as POCO F4, and with a new update currently rolling out for the unannounced device, we can confirm that to be true.
There have been rumors of the Redmi K40s arriving globally as the POCO F4. That has now been confirmed, although POCO is yet to announce the device. Perhaps, the POCO F4 release is imminent, and we expect the official announcement to happen in the coming days.
The company has released a new stable POCO F4 update for the European and Indian variants. It’s available as MIUI 13.0.3.0 SLMEUXM and MIUI 13.0.2.0 SLMINXM, respectively. The Chinese variants have the same version number, but the ‘CN‘ representing CHINA has been replaced with EU (Europe) and IN (India). At least, there’ll be the availability of the device in these two regions. Of course, we expect a wide availability of the device, and hopefully, we’ll get official confirmation soon.
Meanwhile, since the Redmi K40s is now officially coming to the international market as POCO F4, the device will have a 6.67-inch 1080 x 2400p resolution AMOLED display, while Snapdragon 870 SoC, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 2456GB ROM, will power the device.
The device will debut with a triple rear camera arrangement – 48MP + 8MP + 2MP and a single 20MP selfie shooter. There’ll be a 4500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, and outside of the box, the device will run Android 12 on top of MIUI 13.

There is no official price for the POCO F4 yet, but we expect the base variant (6/128GB) to start at $350. As for availability, the device will be available in Europe and India as confirmed by the current rollout. We expect the global availability as well.
