POCO F4 stable update: first published on June 20. Check below for new releases…
Xiaomi sub-brand POCO will release its sub-flagship device, the POCO F4, in the coming days. Ahead of the release, the company has released a new POCO F4 stable update with the June 2022 security patch. Although the device is yet to hit the shelves, users will be graced by the update immediately after setting up their device.
On June 23, 2022, POCO will officially announce the POCO F4. The device will be available in the international markets, including India, Europe, and Global. It is expected to retail for around $400, and as usual, we anticipate an early bird price that might see up to a $50 discount.
Meanwhile, the device will debut with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display. It has a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. There is support for TrueColor professional tuning, HDR10+, 100% color gamut, and Dolby Vision. Under the helm will be the Snapdragon 870 Octa-core chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM. The device will run Android 12 on top of MIUI 13 outside of the box, meaning it will receive Android 13 and 14, at least.
We hope to track all POCO F4 stable updates using this page for the next three years. According to Xiaomi’s update policy, the device will receive three years of security patch support. So, the support will end in June 2025.
How to install POCO F4 stable update via Recovery
First, you need to download the recovery ROM and then move it to your device’s internal memory. After, you should head to Updater App and click on the three dots on the top left. Click choose update package and select the ROM that you downloaded. The system will verify the ROM, and once the verification is completed, the flashing will commence. A new POCO F4 stable update is now seeding in Multiple regions. The update is currently seeding in Europe, India, Indonesia Turkey, and Global. It’s coming with version numbers MIUI 13.0.7.0 SLMEUXM, MIUI 13.0.4.0 SLMEUXM, MIUI 13.0.5.0 SLMIDXM, MIUI 13.0.3.0 SLMTRXM, and MIUI 13.0.5.0 SLMMIXM, respectively. Arriving with tht build is the August 2022 security patch to increase system security and stability. As usual, the update has improved performance and fixed bugs. Download below;

A new POCO F4 stable update has been released to global and European users. The new update is seeding with a version number MIUI 13.0.4.0 SLMMIXM and MIUI 13.0.6.0 SLMEUXM, respectively. It brings the June 2022 security patch to increase system security and stability. As a new phone, the update has optimized performance and fixed bugs.
