However, since stable beta testers are the first to receive MIUI updates before the public rollout, that makes it more likely that those selected will preview MIUI 12.5. And while MIUI 12.5 is weeks away from rolling out, Xiaomi has commenced the second batch of global beta testers recruitment.

Check below, more POCO stable beta testers wanted…

Although POCO claims to be an independent brand, they’re still dependent on the parent company – Xiaomi. Aside from sharing smartphone designs, with most POCO phones, a rebadged Redmi phone, they also run MIUI on top of Android 11. The company is now recruiting stable beta testers to test every MIUI release before it hits the public. It’s the same process as the ongoing Global stable beta tester recruitment organized by Xiaomi. However, since POCO claims to be independent, they’ll now have separate recruitment for phones in their stables.

How to apply for POCO stable beta testers recruitment

Before proceeding, there are things you need to know. First, this recruitment is for POCO stable beta testers, and they’ll only test Global Stable ROM. You should only apply if you’re willing to test it because asking to join another group after selection won’t be answered. After applying, you should join the community Telegram channel where OTA notices are shared. And to ensure you’re able to receive an OTA update, make sure your POCO device is on a Global stable ROM before applying.

How to apply

  • If you meet the above requirements, you should follow this link and fill the form
  • Make sure to fill in all the required details correctly, especially the Mi Account and IMEI numbers. Use the dialer app and check for your IMEI by pressing *#06#
  • Head over to this link and join your device-specific telegram group
  • The application is open till March 31, 2021

Eligible device / Region

Unfortunately, only three Poco phones are eligible to apply.

  • POCO F2 Pro – Indian | EEA | Global
  • POCO M3 – Indian | Global
  • POCO X2 – Indian

The POCO X3/NFC isn’t on the list. We will update this post if the company changes that in the future to include the device. But for now, only apply if you’re using any of the devices mentioned above.

Update: 28 July, 2021

More Stable Beta Testers are wanted, and hence, a fresh recruitment exercise has been initiated. About ten POCO phones are eligible and you can check for the device list here.
