The POCO M3 is a champion when you compare it with all the $129 phones around. It features a unique design, keeps the 3.5mm headphone jack, and comes with a Widevine L1 certificate. The dual-tone finish makes sure fingerprints are not left on the device while the dual speakers deliver the best possible sound. The POCO M3 features a 6.53-inch FHD+ display, unlike other phones in its price tag. It boasts of a 90.34% body-to-screen ratio and supports Widevine L1 certificate outside-of-the-box. Also, it’s TÜV Rheinland certified, which means that it takes care of the low blue lights. The display sits under a Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which offers firm protection against drop and scratch.
POCO M3 performance
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 Octa-Core SoC, which uses 11nm Finfet technology, is what runs inside the Poco M3. It’s paired with 4GB LDDPR4X RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded to 512GB. The device will deliver seamless multitasking, and coupled with the Adreno 610 GPU, will output accurate details. It will also handle most if not all your favorite games, and thanks to the massive battery, you get additional time with the POCO M3.
POCO M3 camera
The camera sits on a rectangular plate, which also houses the POCO crest. The 48MP sensor comes in between the 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. It features a movie frame, Time-lapse, and Night Mode. Other features of the camera are HDR, wide-angle, PDAF, and color focus. On the front camera is an 8MP snapper and supports 1080p@30fps video shooting.
POCO M3 battery and security
Arguably, the most exciting POCO M3 specs. The 6000mAh battery supports 18W charging, which can charge other gadgets at the same speed. According to POCO, during the launch, the battery can go 30 months without degradation and will last 36 hours on heavy use. The fingerprint scanner, which is the security, sits on the power button.
