More devices are picking up the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update recently. It’s the POCO X3 units in India that started receiving the much-anticipated update. The build promises to improve performance and deliver more life between charges, but as usual, it is currently on a limited rollout. Hopefully, there’ll be no performance-threatening bug in the build as that can delay the public release.
Xiaomi is likely to complete the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced rollout in the coming weeks, just in time for MIUI 13 unveiling. The company is planning to release MIUI 13, which the internal testing has started for some flagship phones. That is probably why more phones have picked up the current version of MIUI in the past few days, and we expect that to continue. And as expected, the POCO X3 units in India has started receiving the update.
The POCO X3 MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update in India is seeding with a version number – MIUI 12.5.4.0 RJGINXM. It weighs 615MB and brings features of the new build, although that didn’t appear on the changelog. Meanwhile, you’d notice the addition of Memory Extension under additional settings. The function converts part of the internal storage into a virtual RAM, which depending on your device memory configuration can get up to 3GB.
Aside from that, the update has bumped the Android security patch level to increase system security and stability. Of course, it has introduced the features of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced. They includes Atomized Memory, Liquid Storage, Focused Algorithm, and Smart Balance. You can check for the update via the updater app or use the link below.
