Since the POCO X3 NFC hit the shelves last year, it has received maximum support. The last update that arrived for the device was a couple of days which brought the February 2021 security patch to improve system security and stability. Of course, it also fortified the device ahead of the Android 11 update, and according to reports, the POCO X3 NFC Android 11 update has been released in Europe.
It might be a bit surprising to see the update start arriving in Europe, given that it’s not up to a week since the last update arrived in the region. However, it’s Xiaomi, and when it comes to updates, they always find a way to surprise us. Now, those in Europe can download and install the Android 11 update. But as usual, only a few selected users will receive the update for preview, but we expect it to start seeding for everyone in the next few days, given a successful beta preview.
From reports, the POCO X3 NFC Android 11 update is hitting eligible units with a version number – MIUI 12.0.6.0 RJGEUXM. It comes in a 2.3GB package and would arrive via OTA in the next few days. Fortunately, you can download and install the update manually using the links below this post. As for the changelog, we couldn’t confirm the full changes at the time of this report, but it sure include a stable MIUI based on Android 11. Of course, you should expect all the features baked inside the current Android OS and more.
Meanwhile, note that the current update is that first POCO X3 NFC Android 11 build, and as such, might contain bugs and lags. You should back up your data before installing the update to restore them if there’s any data loss. After upgrading and there are lags, you should perform a factory reset to speed the device performance.
