POCO X3 NFC MIUI 12.5 update released – MIUI 12.5.2.0 RJGINXM. Download below…
POCO might be an independent brand, but they still have strong ties with Xiaomi. Both companies use the same software (MIUI) and run inside the POCO X3 NFC. The device debuted last year with Android 10 on top of MIUI 12, making it eligible for a new OS and MIUI 12.5. It has since started receiving the former, while the POCO X3 NFC MIUI 12.5 update is expected to start seeding this month.
The device was believed to receive both Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 updates simultaneously, but that changed when a stable Android 11 based MIUI 12 update was released in Europe. That’s probably why the latest iteration of MIUI is taking time before it starts arriving on the device. However, given the recent reports, the device will finally start getting the new Android skin sometime this month.
The POCO X3 NFC MIUI 12.5 update will likely start seeding in Europe before heading to other regions. That’s if Xiaomi follows the same approach they used in rolling out the Android 11 update. Also, some regions will receive the update tagged with Android 11 as Xiaomi is yet to finalize the distribution. That said, those POCO X3 NFC device users still waiting for a new Android OS are likely to receive it along with MIUI 12.5.
Meanwhile, a few other Xiaomi phones are also expected to receive the update this month. They include;
- Mi 10, Mi 10 Lite 5G, Mi 10 T Lite
- Mi Note 10, Mi Note 10 Pro, Mi Note 10 Lite
- Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro / Max, Redmi Note 9S, Redmi Note 9T 5G
- Redmi Note 8 Pro
- Redmi 9
- POCO X3 NFC
- POCO F2 Pro
Note: some of these phones have already started receiving the MIUI 12.5 update, but we expect it to arrive in more regions this month. Also, the company needs to finalize the rollout to concentrate on MIUI 13, expected to arrive in August.

Xiaomi has released the much-anticipated MIUI 12.5 update in India. The update is hitting eligible users with a version number – MIUI 12.5.2.0 RJGINXM – and weighs in at 704MB. Xiaomi starts pushing a stable MIUI 12.5 update to the POCO X3 NFC. It’s the global models receiving the stable MIUI 12.5.1.0 RJGMIXM, which brings features of the new MIUI OS. The update also bumped the Android security patch level to July 2021 to increase system security and stability. You can download here
