Six months after the Mi Note series was resurrected with the unveiling of Mi Note 10, Xiaomi has now added an affordable alternative to the lineup. The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite specs, confirm the design is similar to the former but a bit of downgrade in the camera department. Instead of a primary 108MP snapper, you get 64MP instead. However, on the flip side, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite price starts at €320, that’s €230 off the asking price of Mi Note 10.

Xiaomi continues with the curved screen and sleek glass design. It retains the notch for the selfie camera but had to cut down the rear snapper to four. However, the sensors are placed at the same spot, in what looks like a rectangular cutout. The 3.5mm headphone jack sits inches away from the USB-C port, far from the speaker grills while the volume rocker and power button are at their normal positions.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite comes with a 6.47-inch AMOLED display of 1080p resolution. It has a notch and supports an in-display fingerprint scanner. The panel, which has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, supports both HDR 10 and DCI-P3 for accurate detail representation. It’s also certified by the TüV Rheinland company, meaning the display filters harmful blue light. The display does all that under the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 performance
The performance is on par with that of Mi Note 10. It’s the Snapdragon 730G Octa-Core processor powering both devices, paired with up to 8GB RAM. The Note 10 Lite will probably offer a more optimized performance because it’s shipping with Android 10, unlike the former, which is still in Android Pie.

The camera department is where there’s a huge gap. The Mi Note 10 Lite uses a 64MP snapper instead of a 108MP module, while a telephoto lens is left out entirely. Instead, there’s an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 5MP Macro, and 2MP depth sensor, flanked by a Dual-LED flash.
The Mi Note 10 Lite is a budget phone, but will still deliver exquisite camera shots, however, don’t expect the result to match that of the Pro variant.
