Attention is slowly shifting from MIUI 12.5 to Enhanced Edition that’s currently seeding in China. About twelve Xiaomi phones will have received the update by the end of this week. With that, we expect the global release sometime next month, and hopefully, the POCO X3 NFC will be lucky to receive it. However, before the update, you’ll have to upgrade to MIUI 12.5, which has now arrived in Turkey. The POCO X3 NFC MIUI 12.5 in Turkey, as usual, is a limited rollout to allow time for Mi Pilots to preview the build.
Meanwhile, the POCO X3 NFC in Europe is yet to start getting the MIUI 12.5 update, but that could start seeding in a few hours. However, those in Turkey can head over to the Updater App and check for the update. If it’s not there, here’s how to get the update – Head over to the updater app (Settings>>my phone>>click on MIUI version). Click on the three dots at the top right and select ‘Update Settings.’ Enable receiving updates early and then go back and tap on ‘Check for updates’ multiple times.
The POCO X3 NFC MIUI 12.5 in Turkey has a version number – MIUI 12.5.1.0 RJGTRXM. It brings a stable MIUI based on Android 11, July security patch to increase system security and stability, and all features of the new MIUI OS. After upgrading, you will notice the new notification and control panel look, with the former now integrating a separate notification bar for each notification. Animation is smooth, battery backup has improved, and it is now possible to uninstall some system apps.
