The successor of the POCO X3 Pro – POCO X4 Pro 5G is only a reworked Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, with both phones sharing a similar design. It brings 5G connectivity at an affordable price tag while giving options to those that want something different from regular Redmi phones. Perhaps, something unique with the POCO branding besides the camera sensors and the POCO launcher to spice things up.

POCO X4 Pro 5G has a different design from the predecessor – POCO X3 Pro. The device shares a similar design with the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. However, you can differentiate between them with the POCO branding besides the camera. At the front is a single 16MP snapper inside a punch hole. It’s an AMOLED panel surrounded by tiny bezels and chin, while the volume rocker, speaker grills, USB-C port, SIM tray retain their usual positions. The POCO X4 Pro is available in Black, Blue, and Yellow.

The POCO X4 Pro 5G has a tall 6.67-inch AMOLED panel. It’s an FHD+ display protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The 20:9 aspect ratio display with support for 1200 nits of brightness features HDR 10 and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate.
POCO X4 Pro 5G performance
Behind the performance is a recently released Snapdragon 695 Octa-Core processor. It’s a 6nm SoC, meaning the processor is power-efficient. With its highest cores clocking at 2.2GHz and coupled with up to 8GB of RAM, you are sure of robust and consistent performance. Outside of the box, the device runs Android 11 on top of MIUI 13, with Android 12 expected to arrive soon.

POCO X4 Pro 5G is equipped with a triple camera system. The primary 108MP sensor is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro shooter. They can take exquisite shots while there’s a single 16MP shooter in front for selfies.

There’s a beefy 5000mAh battery on the POCO X4 Pro 5GG. That might not be enough considering the power-demanding features, but with the 67W charge support, you get maximum charge in a few minutes.
Meanwhile, it’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which also serves as the power button. That has been the latest trend for POCO phones, and it doesn’t seem to be bad. It is optimized to unlock your device in a fraction of seconds.

Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G price starts at $229 for the base 6/64GB option, while the 6/128GB variant retails for $279. The more premium storage option – 8/128GB – starts from $329. It would be available for purchase on official POCO retail stores and mi.com.
