Portable hotspot, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi won’t turn on after MIUI 9.6.4.0 Global update
Xiaomi Redmi 5 user are reporting some issues after updating the latest MIUI 9.6.4.0 Global update. According to the user, the issue started after updating to the latest MIUI, which after his Portal hotspot refuse to turn on again. It also affected the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
Some users of Redmi 5 that recently updated to the MIUI 9.6.4.0 Global are also complaining of lags and their phones heating up. Some are complaining of their battery draining more faster than normal after the same update.
However, a super Moderator from Xiaomi global forum might have provided a resolution to the issue. Users facing the said issues should download the ROM again and update via update app, after which they check if it has been fixed. Another solution is to try a factory reset and see if it gets rid of the issues.
