Redmi K20 Pro was among the first few Xiaomi phones to adopt the company’s latest Android skin – MIUI 12. And while some eligible phones, like the Redmi Note 8 is yet to receive its first stable MIUI 12 build, some phones are already receiving their third build. A typical example of such a phone is the Redmi K20 Pro.
The device is currently receiving a new MIUI 12 update, which brings the monthly security fix. It’s the September security patch that’s being rolled out to the device, and comes in a 408MB package, with a version number, MIUI 12.0.3.0 QFKINXM. On the changelog is an “updated Android Security patch to September 2020 and increased system security.”
Aside from the changes that appeared on the changelog, the new update also fixed some of the bugs that were introduced by the first MIUI 12 build. Xiaomi plans to continue fixing the bugs with subsequent updates, just as it did with this current build.
Eligible users will progressively receive the new MIUI 12 update on their Redmi K20 Pro in the coming days. However, you can always use our download link below our posts to download the recovery ROM and flash manually.
Meanwhile, the new MIUI 12 update for the Redmi K20 Pro is said to be a beta build. As such, only limited users will receive the update, and in the absence of no performance threatening bugs, the wider rollout will commence in the coming days.
