With the MIUI 12 rollout gradually winding down, Xiaomi will probably shift its attention to bringing Android 11 to those eligible units. The company has actually started deploying MIUI 12 based Android 11 update, with the Redmi Note 9 Pro Indian variant among the first mid-range phone to grab the new Android OS. It has also been said that Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro are currently testing Android 11, and now, the Redmi K30 Ultra first Android 11 build has been released to closed beta testers.
The new Android OS is coming with the latest MIUI 12 closed beta build. It has a version number, V12.11.24, and will arrive on eligible units via OTA. Aside from the new OS, the update brings multiple optimizations and improvements, as well as the features of Android 11. If you’re running the Chinese ROM and participating in close beta testing, you will be able to receive the update via OTA. Meanwhile, flashing this ROM isn’t allowed unless you have an authorized Mi Beta account.
