The Redmi K30i 5G is the latest phone to start receiving a stable MIUI 12.5 update in China. Xiaomi has been swiftly rolling out the update in that region for some time now. So far, it has reached a handful of the device, while the list keeps expanding every day. Meanwhile, the global rollout hasn’t been swift enough. It seems the company is rolling out the update to recently released phones, having rolled out the build to Redmi Note 10S, Note 10 Pro, and Mi 11. We expect more units to pick up the update in the coming days.
According to recent reports, Xiaomi has released the Redmi K30i 5G MIUI 12.5 update in China. The device debuted at the beginning of last year, running Qualcomm snapdragon 765G SoC. It came pre-installed with Android 10 on top of MIUI 12 but has since been upgraded to Android 11. The company is now rolling out a new stable MIUI 12.5 update, which brings a plethora of features and optimization.
As usual, the update is seeding for beta testers for preview. It’ll last for a few days, and if successful in the end, the public will start getting the new build. Meanwhile, we have a link below where you can download the build, but you need an authorized Mi beta account. Of course, you’ll bypass the server lock with a compatible TWRP Recovery.
And in the absence of the two options, then you’ll have to wait for the stable release. If everything goes smoothly, a prompt notification will arrive in the next few days. That said, you should follow our tracker page for all the information concerning MIUI 12.5.
