It is the first of the series to feature an AMOLED display with a high refresh rate under the protection of a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Redmi Note 10S display
When you compare the Redmi Note 9S to the Redmi Note 10S, the display is arguably the department that got the most upgrades. It is the first time the Redmi Note series features an AMOLED display and a higher refresh rate. Unfortunately, you have to go for the Note 10 Pro/Max to enjoy a smoother and fluid display. Nevertheless, you get a decent display with the 6.43-inch panel of 1080 x 2400p resolution. It sits under a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with 1100nits peak brightness.
Redmi Note 10S performance
There’s a divided opinion among smartphone enthusiasts between Mediatek and Qualcomm which one is a better processor. However, it goes down to what a user wants a smartphone for. Mediatek processors best fit gamers, but it seems Qualcomm conserves power. Nevertheless, we have seen the Redmi Note 8 Pro deliver both, and we expect the same for the Redmi Note 10S. For a $229 phone, the camera should be decent enough, and that’s what the Redmi Note 10S gives you. The device comes with a Quad-camera arrangement, headed by a 64MP shooter. It supports shooting 4K@30fps and slo-mo videos at 760fps. Complementing the sensor is an additional three lenses: 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor, while the front camera has a single 13MP shooter. Redmi Note 10S battery and security
The Redmi Note 10S specs show the device has decent features for the price. It also offers a beefy 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. According to Xiaomi, it takes 74 minutes for a full charge, which will go days on decent usage. The scanner is side-mounted with inbuilt features to trigger voice assistance. It can also trigger the control center and more on double-tap.

Redmi Note 10S price starts at $229 for the base 6/64GB model, while the 128GB storage variant sets you back $249. The 8/128GB configuration starts at the price of the Redmi Note 10 Pro ($279). From March 7, the device will be available on AliExpress in colors of Blue, Gray, and White.
