Xiaomi Redmi K60 and Redmi K60 Pro HyperOS update is now available
Xiaomi only started the HyperOS rollout a few days ago, and the update is already available for a handful of eligible devices. It started with the Redmi K60 Ultra, and now, other phones in the Redmi K60 series are getting the update, but in China.
The first phone to receive a HyperOS update via OTA was the Redmi K60 Ultra. Xiaomi has since released it to the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. The company is now seeding the Redmi K60 and Redmi K60 Pro HyperOS update to eligible users in China.
The update is rolling out with version numbers OS1.0.2.0 UMNCNXM for the Redmi K60 and OS1.0.3.0 UMKCNXM for the Redmi K60 Pro. It is based on Android 14 while introducing all the features of the new Android skin. Meanwhile, it will take some time before the update arrives on your device, but you can use the links below to download the Recovery files.
Before installing the update, we recommend backing up your data, as some system apps are yet to adapt to Android 14. In some cases, that can cause glitches and overheating, which might require a factory reset. Otherwise, wait for feedback before installing the build.
