[Update] Redmi Note 10 Pro Android 12-based MIUI 13 update released Globally

Indian version of Redmi Note 10 Pro now receiving Android 12-based MIUI 12 update…

Xiaomi is going the same route with Redmi Note 10 Pro as it did with the Redmi Note 9 Pro. The latter was the first mid-range phone to receive an Android 11 upgrade, although a few things changed this time. Redmi Note 10 Pro Android 12-based MIUI 13 update seeding for the global users means the device received the update before the flagship phones globally. However, it’s a Stable Beta build, meaning it would take some time before arriving for the public.

The global MIUI 13 official unveiling is believed to be in January 26, but it seems Xiaomi released the update ahead of schedule. That has always been their strategy, and now we can get to know features coming to global units before the official release. And going by the feedback, the Redmi Note 10 Pro Android 12-based MIUI 13 update brings a new control center. Of course, the Android OS version has been pushed to Android 12, while the security patch level is in January 2022.

Also, there has been an addition of new widgets and wallpapers, while the security features seem to be missing. The MiSans Font is another feature of the MIUI 13 we’re yet to confirm the availability on global models, although we hope to do that soon. 

Interestingly, there haven’t been reports of any bugs so far, and it seems the system is working perfectly. However, not much changed as the interface remains the same aside from the new control center, which has included Mi Smart Hub. If you’re using the Redmi Note 10 Pro, you can check for a stable MIUI 13.0.2.0 SKFMIXM via the updater app. The update weighs 3.1GB. We recommend backing up your data before proceeding in a situation where a factory reset is required after the upgrade.

After arriving for the global and European models, thr Redmi Note 10 Pro Android 12-based MIUI 13 update has arrived in India. The update is seeding with a version number – MIUI 13.0.1.0 SKFINXM, and brings all the expected features. After a subsequent Android 12-based MIUI 13 update was released to the European models, the global users are now getting the same treatment. They’re getting a stable MIUI 13.0.4.0 SKFMIXM to perhaps address the issues reported by early adopters. You can download the ROM here.
