The Redmi Note 10 Pro will supposedly succeed in the Redmi Note 9 Pro at some point. It was in March that Xiaomi debuted the latter with Snapdragon 720G, having launched the predecessor – Redmi Note 8 Pro – with Mediatek Helio G90T SoC. However, it seems the company will be reverting to Mediatek processor for its next Redmi Note Pro device.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro has been in the market for nearly five months, and it seems the successor is already in the works. According to recent reports from Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi will be launching a new phone this month, presumably, the Redmi Note 10 Pro. The device will use the Mediatek Dimensity SoC, which is said to be on par with the Snapdragon 700 series.
Early rumors suggested that the SoC will be the Dimensity 820, but on the Redmi Note 10 instead. But equipping the non-pro variant with such a powerful processor will inflate the price, which is the more reason we believe it’s the Redmi Note 10 Pro that will eventually run the SoC.
The Redmi Dimensity-powered phone is expected to be announced this month, according to the leak star. But then, we haven’t seen enough details about the new phone, particularly the Note 10 Pro. It has been the Redmi K30 Ultra rumors all over the internet, and we might end up seeing the device debut this month instead.

Of course, there’s a high chance we get to see an entirely different device from the aforementioned devices. Nevertheless, we expect to learn more about this upcoming Redmi phone in the coming days. And if the August time frame is something to go by, we hope to see an official teaser from the company very soon. With that, we will learn more about the device and the exact lunch date.
