With the second phase of the MIUI 14 rollout underway, the Redmi K40 is currently receiving the update, while the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G Android 13 update has also been released. The latter is in China, while the former getting the update globally. However, it’s a limited rollout to allow time for preview.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G has been around for months and having received Android 12 after it was released running Android 11, it’s now getting what could be its last Android OS upgrade. Although it might still get another MIUI upgrade, it’s unclear at the moment, but we hope to learn about it in the coming months.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G Android 13 is seeding with a version number MIUI 14.0.2.0 TKTMIXM and weighs about 3.6GB. It brings a stable MIUI based on Android 13 and bumps the Android security patch to December 2022 to increase system security. Also, it has advanced search in the settings app.
