Xiaomi has started rolling out a stable Android 14 with HyperOS to the Redmi Note 12 5G. The rollout is exclusive to Mi Pilots members, and we expect a public release in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, you can download the Redmi Note 12 5G Android 14 update ROM and install it manually.
The latest release is available for a handful of Redmi Note 12 series phones. Redmi Note 12 NFC, Redmi Note 12S, and Redmi Note 12 4G have all received the update. It’s now available for the Redmi Note 12 5G users in Europe but exclusive to Mi Pilots members. They will preview the ROM for bugs before it starts rolling out for everyone.
The Redmi Note 12 5G Android 14 HyperOS update is seeding with a version number OS1.0.2.0.UMQEUXM. It delivers Android 14 and December 2023 security patch to increase system security and stability. Also, it introduced a new animation language, system fonts, revamped control center, weather app, new home screen icon, and more.
While waiting for the upgrade, ensure your bootloader is locked. Also, if you don’t have an authorized Xiaomi Beta account, we recommend waiting for the public release, as installing the Recovery ROM will bring up an error message. Nevertheless, you can download the update using the link below.
