Xiaomi continues to upgrade eligible phones to Android 14 with a stable HyperOS update. The Chinese company is rolling out the update to the Redmi Note 13 NFC units in Europe, but exclusive to a few users for preview. However, you can always access the Recovery ROM and install the build manually.
Google has released the first Android 15 beta update, meaning Xiaomi phones will soon start testing the next Android OS. Redmi Note 13 NFC will receive Android 15, but first, it has to upgrade to Android 14, which is now available for those in Europe. The update already arrived for global units, and it seems stable enough.
Xiaomi is rolling out the Redmi Note 13 NFC HyperOS update in Europe with version number OS1.0.1.0.UNHEUXM. It comes with all the expected features and bumps the Android security patch level to March 2024 to increase system security and stability.
Meanwhile, there have been cases of bugs after the HyperOS upgrade, and we recommend backing up your data before installing the upgrade. Also, ensure you have a locked bootloader while waiting for the update to arrive via OTA. Those with an authorized Mi Beta account can access the Recovery ROM using the link below.
