The latest phone to start getting the Android 15-based HyperOS 2 update is the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G / POCO M6 Pro. It’s rolling out for select users in Europe, but you can install the update now via the updater app.
Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G / POCO M6 Pro are basically the same phone but with minor tweaks and sold under different monikers. The duo are getting the much anticipated Android 15 upgrade with a stable HyperOS 2. Unfortunately, that is where the journey ends for the mid-range phones, as it has now received two Android OS updates.
Both phones made their debut in January 2024, running Android 13. They quickly got an upgrade to Android 14, and with Android 15 now rolling out, the handsets will not get an upgrade to Android 16. However, they will continue to get security patch updates for a few more months before reaching the end of support. Hence, we recommend installing the new OS update when prompted.
