Features of the MIUI 12 coming to the global units
A lifelike system with gorgeous animation and visualization
MIUI 12 isn’t like anything we have seen before. It’s a complete overhaul of the entire system. The UI is more cleaner, with wider space between different texts or images on a brighter white background unless the dark mode is enabled.
The lifelike animation is another cool feature of the MIUI 12. App icons now generate real-time feedback based on your gestures. Also when you uninstall an app, other apps will bounce to say goodbyes.
Enhanced Privacy protection
Finally, you can fully protect and manage your data online. The new MIUI privacy protection is now recognized and certified by various security agencies.
Super wallpaper
The MIUI 12 gives you the privilege to customize your screen for a refreshing look with carefully selected wallpaper. There’s also a new AOD inspired by the landscape of the Earth, Mars, and Moon to enhance your experience when dark mode is enabled.
Floating Windows
The new floating windows are perfect for Multitasking. Now you don’t have to switch between apps when multitasking. With just a single tap, you can close or open the window. You can also decide to minimize a window and hang it on one corner while you interact with other windows.
Powerful universal casting
The new inbuilt casting tool allows you to conveniently cast everything with just your phone. It also gives you some privacy as things meant for your eyes only won’t be displayed on the screen.
Ultra-thin battery saver
This particular feature was introduced with MIUI 11 for the Chinese users, and now, the global users can enjoy it as well. When the tool is enabled, it will restrict power-consuming activity, background activity, and switch to dark mode, leaving a few apps on the screen. However, you can customize it and add other apps.
